Received a phone-calls at 8:11 AM from a lady saying she's calling from Children's Cancer and desired to talk with either myself or my husband (by name) and requesting a contribution. I hung up in it. Who calls at 8 AM anyway

I told them to send me info on their company and that if they panned out I'd produce a donation. Explained they desired me to commit to no less than 15. I repeated that I don't commit when they do not pan out. The phone call ended then. That said it all, LARGE SCAM

It's a charity. They are exempt from the Don't Call list. Actually, it really is ranked as one of the toughest charities in America. Hardly any of the amount of money they get would go to true charity. But even negative charities are exempt from the DNC Registry.
