Phone-calls out of this variety at 3:52 a.m. on 08/26/2010. It scared me so bad as my small girl just moved to Illonois and has the same 618 area code. Some noted information in a masculine speech (that I have no clue what was) and then nothing. Who the heck calls at 3:52 each day!!

Named at 3:45 AM the caller ID showed 800LINK pick it-up and nobody responded. Receiving calls now of morning scares the-hell from you because it is generally negative news.

The companies who buy these listings buy them semiannually. When you register for the Don't Phone Call list, you name gets removed from the following book of lists. As they have their particular which is ruled by the FTC, when it is a banker, they do not have to abide by these guidelines. A wise thing to do is if you made a decision to grab these calls, first ask if this number will be recorded. Should they reply "Yes" suggest that you are on the DNC list. If they state "No" request if it can be recorded by them, or state that YOU will be taking the phone call, and state that you're on the DNC list.

We've also requested to be used off the list and they simply hang up the phone on you. They local call one or more times a day. Don't phone call list is very ineffective. I filed a complaint with the FCC. I truly don't assume it will do a bit of good.
