Got a phone-calls saying I had been accepted for a Government Grant. I was guaranteed once they said I'd to pay for 4 pounds by credit card to activate my account that it was a fraud. Used to do not ask any questions simply hungup. They called right back and I did so not answer my handset. I do believe they'd not ask for any info and basically did qualify for an offer I would be finding a call from some body with out an accent or for me to cover them to have it.

Just called me stating that I used to be eligible for a grant in the U.S. government and asked for my banking info. After I asked them to spell out in more detail and to get a certified letter verifying the government grant, they hungup. This is the second junk phone number that I have gotten today (the first was 202-405-4852). Thank heavens I have my Norton Security telephone software that allows me to prevent calls and texts.

I'd 3 calls out of this number and it demonstrates voice path comm around the owner I/D. It sounds like a fax line after I grab the phone. They called 3 times over the weekend and then called at4:30am.

Same with John, I responded and the same large accented male said, "may I talk with (my name)" I asked who's this? He repeated "can I speak. ect" Again I expected. He asked me one more time and I eventually said "Look tell me who's calling and i will tell you if she's here" (I never tell unknown figures who I am at first.) he freaked-out and quickly said, "okay, okay" and immediately hungup the phone. IF THESE FOLKS WERE NOT SCAM ARTISTS THEY'D HAVE EXPLAINED WHAT THEIR COMPANY IS. IN THE EVENT THAT YOU GET A NUMBER FROM THIS RANGE DO NOT HAND OUT ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION!
